About

What Shiftpedia is, who runs it, how each guide is built and where it stops.

  1. The short version

This is a free reading site for people who manage hourly workers. It sticks to four jobs: the weekly schedule, swaps and call-outs, the time clock and the timesheet.

  2. How a guide is built

One real question to a page. Numbered steps in the order you would take them. A list of sources at the bottom and the date of the last check.

  3. Who is behind it

Every guide is credited to Shiftpedia Editorial Team, a group and not a single author. Every guide is machine-written. Software lines up each fact with its source, and a review model built by another AI company looks over the facts before the guide is posted. No editor rewrites it.

  4. Where it stops

These pages are general information. They are not wage and hour, payroll or legal advice, and your rules may differ by place and by employer. For questions or corrections, the address is operations@shiftpedia.com.
